These live appointments will be an opportunity to listen to “MISS ITALIA” live, the first entirely Italian album by the Italo-English singer-songwriter, which will be in stores worldwide from next May 10th (Capitol Records Italy/Universal Music Italia). The album is available for pre-order at https://jacksavoretti.lnk.to/MissItalia.

“I would like people to listen to this record and perceive it as a Jack Savoretti album, without thinking about the language I am singing in. It is in Italian, but it is Jack Savoretti, it is not a Savoretti album in Italian,” Jack Savoretti emphasizes, announcing this new project very dear to him.

Jack's connection with Italian music was also showcased on February 9th on the stage of the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo during the 74th edition of the Italian Song Festival, where Savoretti performed “Amore che vieni, amore che vai” by Fabrizio De André together with Diodato, an artist who has been one of the pillars of his artistic formation.

But that's not all: on February 22nd, a rearranged and reproduced version of “Senza una donna (Without A Woman)” by Zucchero featuring Jack Savoretti was released worldwide. For Savoretti, re-singing this song (originally published by Zucchero and Paul Young) is not only a great honor but has profound personal significance: “This song allowed me to unite my two identities for the first time. On one side, the Italian, my father's language which I spoke little at the time but understood more than my English peers, and on the other side, English, my mother's language which she sang at home, duetting with my father. ‘Senza una donna’ summarized their union, their relationship, just like me, half Italian and half English.”

Over a million copies sold thanks to 7 albums released in English (2 of which reached the top of the UK charts) in over 10 years of career and 20 years of expressive research. JACK SAVORETTI has written numerous songs and poems, narrating a life as a traveler in search of his artistic soul divided between England (where he was born and still lives), Italy (from which he takes his surname and a strong passion for poetry and romanticism), Switzerland (where he studied), and the whole world, through which he has traveled over the years to find his sound, his way of expressing himself.

Culturally eclectic and influenced by American, English, and Italian singer-songwriter music, Savoretti began writing poems very young. It was his mother, a former model who frequented Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones in her youth, who suggested he pick up a guitar and put his words to music. The result is a set of simple and incisive melodies dominated by the sound of the acoustic guitar and a rare attention to lyrics that often leads him to be compared to the great singer-songwriters of the Anglo-Saxon tradition.

Savoretti boasts a long list of collaborations ranging from the pillar of American singer-songwriting Bob Dylan to the Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue, through Nile Rogers, James Blunt, Shania Twain, but also Ex Otago and Elisa.
